Top notch serial killer movie that I like even more than SIlence of the Lambs. Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt are two detectives on the trail of a vicious killer named John Doe, who is using the seven deadly sins to dispatch his victims. The actor who is not listed in the credits is supremely creepy as John Doe and makes an effective foil for our dynamic duo. Freeman is top notch as the veteran detective who is burnt out by all the violence in the world. Pitt is gung ho as his eager new partner. Gwyneth Paltrow is effective as Pitt's wife. And R. Lee Emery is great as the duo's captain. A great film that I have seen several times.
